Our Story

A Family Business, Rooted in West Kilimanjaro

Founded in 2001 by Mr. Lucas Kaaya, West Kilimanjaro Dairy Products began as a family enterprise and was officially registered in 2004. In 2009 it became a family company with Mr. and Mrs. Kaaya as directors — and today every member of the family remains involved in its day-to-day operations.

Our mission is to support small farmers and produce dairy products as a natural part of Tanzania’s agricultural landscape. Our vision is to become the premier provider of exceptional dairy products, captivating both Tanzanians and visitors to our nation with unparalleled quality and taste.
